Let share our own believe system here: I know that many of you guys were picked a religion when you were born so you may like it or not. Therefore, you may wish some aspects of the religion could work out one way or another. So, if you guys can make your own believe system what is it like? I think that my believe system right now is mostly the best FOR ME, Which I’m Muslim also I have rules to follow it. like I do not eat meat of pig and drink alcohol or ( wine). Because in my religion is taboo. Also Because it will influences us , that’s why we follow it. In addition there is misunderstanding or beliefs for religion believes . What do you think GUYS?

I think if I could make my own believes system, I would not make a belief system. Since our worlds are already different due to their cultures and religion, people are being mean to some cultures. I have a personal experience, I was playing draw something game, and there was this one person who supposed to draw a turban, and underneath it, he/she wrote terrorist, I was offended. So if would make my own belief system, it is better to not to make it, and just have no religions.

I think it is sometimes significant to make my own belief system. For example, from last semester project, we focused on how to prevent from manipulation. In order for individuals to protect themselves from these unknown predators, individuals must always be prepared and ready to make educated, well informed, and smart decisions. People need insights and intellectual tools that enable them to protect themselves from becoming victims in a world of manipulation. No matter how trustworthy another individual is based on his professional or rank, it is always best to get another second opinion and or do your own research.

In my personal opinion, having our own belief makes our life more organized. As you said, it is true that having religion is good for us to live better life because religion lead us to self control ourselves and make us being nicer person by teaching us the lessons. However, having own belief system is also helpful for us just life religion. For example, I never trust people easily because they usually weat a fake mask at the first, and this habit lead us to not get damaged by people sometimes.

Personally, I wouldn't want to create any belief system. Religion, to me, is just a way to explain the unknown or part of the unknown. However, some groups of a religion may have extreme views of something. They may want to reject others who are different. They may have strict views. What's worse is that one may also be influenced by these if he/she was to join. I think that's part of the reason why I don't follow any religion. But in the end, even if I was to create my own belief system, it's up to everyone else to either follow or not.

I feel like religion is a sensitive subject because no religion is right or wrong and it's also a lifestyle over just beliefs to many people. That said, religion is different to each person, even if they believe in the same divine figure/figures. Because it's natural that a big religion splits into sects because of different interpretations, I think it would be nice to stress a certain value. For example, accepting and showing love the people around you.

I would not create my own belief system because there are so many other religions which will make it confusing. People might question themselves which is the right religion because people are always gonna say "this religion is the one." Religion is there to explain the unknown and make humans less barbaric. If there were no religion then people do not know what is right and what is wrong. However, I would not make my own belief system to manipulate others but I think it is nice to have religion.

I don't think I could ever have one belief system. We go through life for the first time every day, anything that happens today could influence me to think differently than yesterday. And that's great! i guess, my belief system then, would be, to be openminded. To go with the flow as funny as that sounds, and just be nice to people. Know that everyone's going through a hard time in life, and be aware of what I am doing that may affect the people around me.

I would not create my own belief system. I think there will be a lot more that cannot be explained rather than to be explained. Also, creating my own belief system can potentially, I guess, harm myself because... well the power of religion is pretty strong that it can potentially ruin you if you aren't careful. Religion is a choice and everyone has the freedom to choose their own religion. Whether a religion is right or wrong, that's totally up to the person.

I don't have a set belief system yet. Currently, I am in the phase of experimenting and adventuring. Although I agree that it is important to set up your own belief system and live up to it, I believe we should not become inflexible by it. For example, you cannot force someone to believe in principles of your religion and undermine others. This is why I believe traveling or living abroad is significant. From experiencing different culture, you are able to broadened your scope and are more likely accept the difference.

I won't be interested in making a belief system because I believe that everyone has different set of minds and feelings. This idea kind of originated when I saw how corrupted a religion can be. For example, some people just do nonsense things that is not allowed in our society just because they are in part of a certain religion. I think that we all are influenced depending on what environment we have been living in.

I think I won't make my own belief system because there are lots of religions that I can believe. I think some people take religion in their whole life, but this day, many people just take partial in their lives. I think it is good that keep your religion like you because I think people who keep their religion in this modern society is hard. For example, there is less temple for people who is believing Buddha, so it is hard to go pray every day. I think instead of getting bad influence from the society, it is better to keep your religion rules because by believing your religion, there might be good for you.

I've never thought about creating a new belief system.. I do agree with Eric that every human being has different sets of minds and thoughts. It doesn't mean that any religion is wrong or something.. (maybe some do) but anyways, from last year, we learned that certain religion may also influence and manipulate people. This is a funny thing but I'd love to share with you guys. Few days ago, I went to watch a movie called "Absolutely anything", obviously, the protagonist can to absolutely anything he wants and he has a friend called Ray, he was in love with a female sports teacher but she didn't like him at all, so the protagonist made that teacher to treat Ray as a new God. So she and her fellows followed Ray and do religious ceremonies stuff. That was actually funny but we can see that wen people are too into one religion, they are being manipulated as well...?

I agree with Christopher that you shouldn't create your own religion or believe yourself because it will hurt you and the view of your perspective will create bias situations most of the times. you wouldn't agree much with people and always have different opinions on religion. There are many religions to believe in this world; muslim, christianity, buddihsm, or not believing in anything but thats up to yourself whether you should or shouldn't believe.

I don't think that creating your own belief system is such a good idea unless there are a lot of people who are willing to follow your specific belief system. Otherwise, you would only be hurting yourself because there would be many people going against your system since there will probably be contradicting details which others will not like. Therefore, I think it would be a safer choice to just go along with the existing religions in order to not cause a controversial commotion.
