Emily Bronte's poem Remembrance has language that makes us connect the images that she paints with her words to emotions. She incorporates the theme of nature especially to symbolise and represent how she feels about her lover's death. When you did the in cluncool activity, how did this influence your picture? How can you interpret human emotion through nature?

I think as you said in the cluncool about your picture, nature can represent a lot about our emotions. Not just the poem remembrance mentions about it, there are numerous literature pieces that use nature as symbolism for our emotions. Most of the time winter, could represent death, because that is what really happens to the nature, they die to reborn again in spring. So in the poem remembrance, over the mountains was beautiful and full of beautiful flowers, which she symbolized as the happiness that the girl could have, yet she is still in that tough winter which symbolizes her sadness due to loss of her lover. Nature could represent a lot more than just emotions, and I think it is really effective.
