I think the difference between mature and immature is experiences. In my perspective, adults have more experiences compare to us. Last year, I didn't know what father and mother told me. I was always negative with parent's opinion because I had different opinion. But now I know that I should listen to adults because the things that I wanted was not right. The parent's thought was right. I was so regret that I didn't listen to my parent. From this experiences I learned that what is mature and what is not. With any experiences gives lesson to us. I think I'm immature because I don't have enough experiences and I don't want to fail from my own immature decision making.

It is really hard to define what is it like to be mature. Mature means having reached an advanced stage of mental or emotional development characteristics of an adult. I personally believe a mature person is not only the one who does not think only in absolutes, who is able to be objective even when deeply stirred emotionally, but also the one who has learned that there is both good and bad in all people and all things. Furthermore, a mature person is able to keep an independent mindset and consciously live through the set of principles and purpose they have set for themselves, regardless of what other people think or say.

I think that growing out of our teenage years, that is becoming a person of legal age, contributes to the extent of our maturity. Becoming 20 in Korea is thought to be a big deal and the official "manhood" is supposed to be started from that age. Becoming a person of legal age means a lot of things, such as becoming legal to drink, to drive, to smoke, to go to clubs, to buy things in your name, and many more. However, there is another side to becoming legal, you are responsible for your own actions. Our parents will not be called when we do something wrong, although they may help you get on track, technically, you are all by yourself. Becoming mature is different from growing out of the teenage years because it means that our thoughts are different from the thoughts that we may have as teenagers. We will have to make smart decisions on ourselves, discipline ourselves, think to ourselves, and solve the problems that we may encounter without any help. In my opinion, maturity comes from experience, and the things that we are going to be able to do when we become an adult help our responsibility to grow, our thoughts to grow, and even our mentality to grow. I think that all these contribute to the our maturity.
