Fallacy is a mistaken belief, especially one based on unsound argument. It is a significant concept in human life because human thinking deceives itself while deceiving others. The human mind has no natural guide to the truth, nor does it naturally love the truth. Human minds tend to like what serves it, what flatters it, and what gives it what it wants. The media of the world tend to create an unlimited messages that continually sacrifice truth to spin. We live in a world in which communication and manipulation act in a similar purpose. People really need intellectual insights that allows them to protect themselves from becoming victims in society.

Fallacy is something not real make you to loss who you are. Something that make people keep you far from them . A something keep you way far from the real world. I can not say one word about it because there is different ways to be fallacy. It might be a human nature but in low level and you make it more bigger. Lying. Acting. Fake our life all of that can be part of it. Even your thoughts when you misunderstood anything that will take you to fallacy.

I agree that everyone can be vulnerable to manipulation and it is important that we overcome our fears and vulnerability caused by them. I think that sometimes, people are careless and don't try to seek the truth. This is because they filter out most of what they see or hear and tend to avoid information that contradicts what they already think or believe. Although truth-seeking often takes us out of our comfort zone, I believe that everyone is morally obliged to seek truth. We want clarity and understanding.
What do you guys think? Does truth matter?

I agree with you that media continues to manipulation information into a way that we will enjoy, not something that is the actual truth. We always hear these rumors or ill-written facts which are not actually true, but the media has spit out to gain more attention or popularity. Because of this, these days we cannot know who or what to trust, which is a huge problem in society with so many dangers going about.

I agree with jin that media have big role to manipulate people, even media not all time give us the truth information but people look at and believes what are in media, now this days media almost every thing in our life. but than people still need to careful , and do not believes everything that are saw it to real.I believed we do not have just blame media for every thing happen in the world and our society but we need look more than one side for media to believes it.anyway right now there is a lot of problem in the world. and media been do bias and cover news the side that they want it.

Througout history, media has been used to manipulate people and even now it manipulates people. A great example is Hitler using propagandas and the media to make sure at least the Germans think they are winning the war and the U.S government using 9/11 to spread the "American" idea over the world. Unfortunately, the media didn't stop and depicts literally everything negatively. This (for example) manipulates the people to think that the world is so dangerous and evil when it is actually the safest time in history. As you mentored, people should really need to know to protect themselves from society.

Agreeing with Jin and Maysam, social media takes a big role to the society. They can easily manipulate others as if it's true and it is the easiest way to persuade others.
If something is expose in the Television or in the social media, we think it's true. People don't even doubt about the rumors. They just believe it.
This is why people have to be aware of the facts that are flowing out in the society. Some might be true and some might be not. People should be aware because if we don't, we will be controlled over the dictator who's going to manipulate us. We should be always aware of the true social issues.

I don't wanna blame media for being manipulative. I think we shaped it this way. Truth is not enough for us. As a human we always love to fantasize beyond our limit. That's the reason we like superhero stuffs. We find these things entertaining. So now media is trying to provide that sensation by manipulating news and we are going crazy with the flow too without even thinking it's credibility. And because of our overwhelming reaction this cycle repeats itself. So the whole idea is, We chose to be manipulated.
