(Correct me if I'm wrong) Stocks are in a way to invest to a company. It gives the "normal" people a chance to bid in to be part of the company, organization, franchise, and more. Also, if you are lucky and invest to the correct stocks, you'll be gaining thousands or millions of dollars. In some sense, it is a gamble. What Josh is doing right now is pretty phenomenal because if for example Nike is set as a model, it'll be very interesting. People buy commerce goods because we use it and due to trends. We will never lack the will of stop buying these goods and what he is doing is trying to analyze the market for it.
