I love the phrase "Success is the best revenge". Back then, revenge was the word when you murder or damage someone back for your loved ones. But now, we are living in a society that has rules and laws which deter your madness to revenge. Instead, we judge their guilt and let them take full responsibility of what they've done by locking them in jail or so on. For your question, "is revenge a good thing?" I would say no. For the people who go to jail by their guilts are not because somebody revenged them to go to jail. It's more letting them suffer what they've done and regret and be sorry to what they've done to other people. In my opinion, I say revenge is a bad thing because revenge brings a bigger (tougher) revenge which will make people's lives miserable.
