Sooo the trial of Hamlet is coming up. I was surprised when I heard that the case was for Polonius's death. I was expecting the trial to be for Claudius's death. However, now it can be more interesting because Claudius gets to speak as a witness as well. Since I am on the prosecution team, I am looking forward to hearing Hamlet statement to defend himself on the podium. According to the play, Hamlet was not really fazed by the fact that he accidentally just killed Polonius. All I can say is that I'm pretty excited for the trial to start.
Which part of the trial are you guys looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to when Hamlet will be trying to justify himself in killing Polonius. I feel as if he would justify that it was an accident because he wanted to kill Claudius. But it'll be interesting because Hamlet still committed a crime. It may have been an accident, but his intentions were to commit a crime already.

I also am looking forward to see how Hamlet will defend himself. Furthermore, I am interested how relationship between Ophelia and Hamlet will unfold because Hamlet had killed her father.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of evidence the defense attorney will bring to the court. Like Jonah said, it's a fact that Hamlet stabbed Polonius and committed a crime so the only way to defend Hamlet is to find evidence to convince the judge. I think that Hamlet's character and role will play a big role in the trial.

I am looking forward to both Hamlet and Polonius defending their arguments. I am curious how Polonius will defend himself, because he was hiding behind the curtain in the first place, and that is not a very good evidence. He should have known better than to spy on a fuming, angry Hamlet. I also wonder for Hamlet, because he shouldn't have just stabbed impatiently like that, and should have something more reasonable.

My character is Horatio, who is actually present a lot in most of Hamlet's scenes. Horatio always accompany Hamlet around, and even if there is no dialogue, it usually says that Horatio is next to him. So it means there is a lot of material for me to work off of. Also I can be very neutral, because Horatio is Hamlet's friend, but he is like Alfred to Batman. He tries to tell Hamlet when he is wrong. Also Horatio isn't a prick to everyone and is a better human than any of the main characters of the story. Horatio's loyalty is also useful. Bottom line, there is a lot of stuff for me to work off of, and I look forward to that.

I'm rather interested in who actually will get to act as Hamlet. He will need to be smart and sneaky since if he makes any mistake he'll surely go down really fast..

The part that I am waiting for is when the prosecution and defense ask me who I am. I, as the ghost of father Hamlet, can be whatever I like. Demon? Ghost? Maybe even God! It is something unknown, just as death is. I am quite looking forward to how the prosecution and defense can persuade me to be something. In addition, I can choose to betray Prince Hamlet or support him.

Yeah, I am also excited and looking forward to how Hamlet is going to justify Polonius's death and how Polonius is going to justify on spying Hamlet. Also what will the ghost say who he is. The ghost can either play as a Hamlet's father or a demon which will likely have a impact on the trail. If the ghost says he or she is a demon then we can know that Hamlet is just crazy. However, if the ghost says he is Hamlet's father then we can know in the beginning Hamlet is not as crazy.

I'm excited on how Gertrude is going to turn out as a witness. She loves Hamlet as his mother and everything, and even in act V she still told Hamlet about the poison before dying, but I uncoolume this is set right after Polonius got killed, so Gertrude should remember that Hamlet verbally beat her senseless, and of course, she saw him stab Polonius. What side will she pick?

Whoever is gonna be hamlet, I'll just say I feel sad for you and good luck up against that prosecution. I'm really exited to see what role I get there too. It's gonna be fun I guess. But depends a lot on the defense team and the other characters. So looking forward for it.

I don't really care which side, but I want to see how we going to judge him in trial. It will be interesting because I still consider is Hamlet guilty or not. It will be fun that we are going to discover his sin with our modern laws and ideas.

I'm excited to see what Ophelia says about Hamlet. As defense, I also am excited to see the integrity level in all characters.
