I believe there are two parts of knowledge which is good and bad. When we read Adam and Eve, we saw God to not eat the "Tree of Knowledge" because it loses ur innocence. Now, we made nuclear bombs which can wipe the whole humanity on this earth. How scary is that? However, if we have knowledge we can develop more things and make our lives more efficient. Now, we have computers which makes information easily accessible which is great. So I believe knowledge can be both dangerous and not dangerous.

In my opinion, knowledge can be a dangerous tool, depending on how people use it. For modern people knowledge is a necessity to survive in this world. Every day people acquire more and more new knowledge. But, even in the Bible, God warns men that knowledge brings more regret than it does value: "He that increases the knowledge increases the sorrow". Today people suffer from oversupply of knowledge. They do not know which information they can trust and which information they should deny. It is a real problem in society.

Among the various opinioms in this thread, I agree with Jooyoung: knowledge itself isn't dangerous, but rather the people that exploit this knowledge for personal gain. There is nothing wrong with knowing how to deal with nuclear energy or having a lot of money. However, what is wrong is using that nuclear energy to build catastrophic nuclear bombs, or manipulating someone's poverty to offer a bribe or monetary reward in exchange for something you want. Humanity has the option to better our world with the knowledge we possess, but our individualistic mindset instead chooses to better only ourselves. Fame and power drives us to use the knoweldge we have for selfish purposes.

Knowledge is helpful but super dangerous at the same time! Of course knowledge makes one develop but it might be dangerous because knowledge is really powerful. For example, North Korea, they have so much knowledge of Nuclear power that's why those knowledge makes that country a "dangerous" country in the world.haha...
