I agree with Mayurika, for most of the people success means achieving our goals. We as students have our own goals to become someone one day and we work hard to achieve that goal. If we couldn't achieve it we think we are not successful, but if we did, we are successful. Also there is a stereotype in the world, if you are rich, you are successful, if you have a luxurious car you are successful, but I think they are also part of our goals. So when we achieve our goals we are successful.

We all have different interpretations of what is success in our life. There are people who are satisfied with just living their lives, so success would be survival of one more day. However there are also others who expect much more of themselves and believe they can only be successful by achieving their goals and beyond. What is the point if goals aren't reached and a person is less then what they hoped to have achieve? In my opinion, success mean reaching goals, but they don't have to be big goals. Sure, I dream of one day being married and having a job and a family, but finishing today's homework on time and doing well on tests, these can also be short-term goals.

In my opinion, my meaning of success is an accomplishment that I'm satisfied with. Things that we accomplish are things to be proud of, things to brag about. We shouldn't neglect what we've done just because the world is always busy. I also think that I have to be satisfied with this accomplisment, for if I don't feel satisfaction with myself, whatever I've done doesn't seem that important. I need to feel that I've done something right, that I've done something that is beneficial to me or another being.

Although there are so many ways to define success and it varies by person to person, I think people achieve success when they learn the importance of contributing to something larger and longer lasting than themselves. As most of the people in the world are so caught up in their own responsibilities and struggles, some arent very good at looking beyond their own world. Once they realize this, I think that they can define the term success in a more meaningful way.

the meaning of success in my mind and in my world is when you put a goal and u run to get to it, you make a points and you puncool thro them so you can feel that you did something and you worked hard to make that success. plus when you plan for something and everything becomes just like your plan that counts as in real success .

I also agree with so many people who commented in this post. In my personal opinion, success is not about money. It's all about your personal value succession and happiness and love. It is kind of true that people think of money when they heard the word successful however, it's just common wrong stereotype I think. Success means a lot, not just material things.
