We experience miscommunication everyday. As it can be seen in the poem, a single miscommunication caused a huge consequence. No matter how large or small the miscommunication is made, we cannot predict what kind of consequence it will bring. What are ways that we can prevent miscommunication?

We can prevent miscommunication by writing a letter. If you want to tell other people you don't deliver by person telling and telling. Then the information will change like in the telephone game. If you want to clearly expressed your thoughts then I believe the best way to prevent miscommunication is sending a letter or text (21st century). You can also use codes to prevent miscommunication like morse code. There are a lot of ways to prevent miscommunication.

We can prevent miscommunication by precision, from the telephone game, if we do not become specific of the request of our actions, the outcome will be completely different. And it is evident in the poem as well that from 600 soldiers, they lost through miscommunication, which more soldiers died in the war.

I think that we can prevent miscommunication through repeating ourselves. Often times, I see how people usually only listen to anything once. If it was a request, I think that we just try to listen once and say ok because we want to show others that we do care about the situation, even if we didn't hear them properly. As a result, miscommunication happens. However, by repeating / requesting again, I think that we can prevent it.

I think miscommunication can be prevented by through repetition. As informations are repeatedly processed, there are less chance of misunderstanding. This is because your information is constantly being checked and corrected when information is repeated.

We can prevent miscommunication by emphasizing what we said or wrote with details. I think this is a very useful method, especially if an action is being carried out. An example for this is if someone was writing out a procedure for an experiment: to make sure all aspects of the experiment are accurate and precise with no mistakes, even the smallest details must be written out to make sure future scientists will be able to follow the precise details.

Conflict and unwanted problems are a result of miscommunication or misunderstandings. Conflicts can also derive from the how the opinion of one person may differ from the opinion of a whole group. For example if an individual believes in something that goes against what society has already established, there will be miscommunication which will lead to the exclusion of that individual. Therefore, in order to prevent miscommunication, society has to get used to accepting the opinion of individuals to better shape society. People need to expand their minds to the point where they can comprehend the various suggestions individuals may have to offer.

I think miscommunication can be avoided by having each other's full attention when starting a discussion and by being direct and specific. Miscommunications often happen when people don't take time to understand or aren't understood. To prevent this from happening, people should practice active listening and really take a moment to really see what is happening.

One way to prevent from miscommunication is through repetition. As we emphasize information several times over and over, there is a less possibility that people will misunderstand the importance of the context. Through checking if people received the same message as I want to tell them, it will reduce the miscommunication.

I think in order to prevent miscommunications we should communicate more. There's no way to get rid of it completely, but we should try to make ourselves clearer in our expressions to prevent it. As we make ourselves more clear in our meanings through expressing maybe why or what we want exactly, there would be less miscommunication.
