When telling a story there are many options. The most cluncoolic is writing a book. After all it's the easiest one to make technically, because all you need is a pen and some paper. Movies are very popular these days too, becuae you can visulaize what is happening. Comic/Manga is good too because they're affordable to make and you can somewhat visualize, though not as much as movies though.
There are many forms of media of telling stories, but my personal favorite is suprisingly video games, for one reason: you can somewhat control what is happening and make personal deicisons compared movies or books. Video games are the only comprehensible form of media currently that is somewhat controllable, honestly. That is also I love open world games too.
What is your personal favorite forms of media of telling stories?

I think that all forms of media are differently but equally effective. They all have different strengths and weaknesses and show us different ways of perceiving the same thing. For example, a novel and a movie both teach you life lessons but a novel focuses more on your own imagination guided by the author's words and movies show us someone else's vision more. I think that even through music, people express their views about the world as well, but in a way that focuses on a different medium (sounds and lyrics).

My personal favorite form of media is movies. There is visualization which makes it fun and you believe it is real. However, movies have drawback which makes us not think. If we are reading a book, we can imagine the pictures and give action in our brain. When there is a movie derived from a book, of course the book is way better than the movie because we have our own imagination. Every people visualize the book differently and if a movie comes out, they always say the movie was terrible. Every media have its pros and cons which makes everything balanced. Every media tells us lessons or experience which other people suffered. There is a saying that you only have one life but if you read books you have more than one. So I believe that every form of media is my favorite and I love watching or reading other people's stories.

I think all forms of media can influence differently because they have different strengths and weaknesses. For example, many famous books are later released in a movie: Harry Potter. Some people say book is better than a movie. I think it is because books emphasize more on reader's own imagination while movies emphasize more on author's point of view or imagination. What audience think may differ from author's own perspective. My favorite form of media is a novel because it gives an opportunity to imagine and think thoroughly on author's message and main idea of a story (what author really wants to talk about).

In my personal opinion, SNS is the best form of media to tell my story. The reason why I chose SNS as best form of media is that we can use various methods to tell our stories. For example, we can upload pur photos in instagram or we can uploag our personal status on face book and everyone can see your status in several minutes because most of people are actually addicted to SNS these days.

I think that my personal favorite type of media would be music. There are many different types of music, all with their own meaning. That meaning may not be explicitly states but it gives people the freedom to interpret it the way how they see fit. To me, each song I listen to is unique and tells its own story starting from the title itself. Sometimes I even dive into the song itself and imagine the right scenario to which a song plays.

I would agree of what you said, video games are my personal favorite type of literature. That you control be the character, and sometimes you can design the character you want to be, therefore the consequences of your decisions occur of what you do. I feel like more open and free playing video games and understanding the story a lot better rather than being a in a "roller coaster" of a character in a book.

My favorite form of media is movies or documentaries. Because I am a very visual person, I always prefer actions and pictures rather than plain texts. Therefore, movies packed with action and images often convey the story more vividly than stories with plain text. However, I agree with Andrew that the movie takes away the fun of "imagination". When reading novels, I get to imagine character's appearance, the setting, and the actions; but when I am watching movies, everything is already set up visually for you; you simply watch it. Therefore, I often read the novels first before watching the movie. This way, I get to compare my imagination with the movie which is also enjoyable (but sometimes also disappointing)

I strongly agree with julia, different media types affect us in different ways. News is a major media source, and it affects directly, for an example when they were talking about merse, news influenced us to wear the masks and be safe, which is in a good way. But also news show some stuff such as killing people and war, which could also influence us in a bad way. Movies are something that we appreciate and maybe depreciate. Movies are not our choice, it is someone else's choice and it could be similar to our choice or maybe not, and that is why there are different types of movies, for different tastes. As i said before media affects us in different ways.

My favorite forms of medias are images and videos because instead of interpret the story in my own imaginations, I like to see how author put his ideas into images. I think authors put lots of thoughts to images and videos because audiences should also see the ideas of quthor through posters or movies. I like to predict the stories from movies more than the books because authors have more good imaginations than me. The movies deliver me more clear stories and ideas in the journey. I like to read a book some time, but I don't really like to read advantages books because it's complicated to imagine the stories.
