I don't know guys, the only thing that I know is that we have to live on, unless you choose to suicide which yeah, okay. And if you plan on living with society, you got to have money. That's why money is everything in a sense, without money you can't even survive? Unless you go live in the wild and take care of everything on your own, which isn't a bad idea except that you would have to abandon your parents and cut people out of your life which would not be fair.
At the moment, I can't see society changing. In fact at the core of everything, nothing has changed in human society since humans have existed. We were born to compete for survival and essentially make sure our offsprings survive, hence our endless competition over property, jobs, beauty, salary.
"Money can't buy us happiness", I agree, but thats just...obviously money can't buy us happiness, what even is happiness? What's all this work for, you know? What are we doing here, what are we searching for? While we figure that out, that is if we ever do, we need money to survive. It's just like how, when someone asks you, well, what happened to your dreams? what happened to that girl/that boy? and you answer "what always happens, life..." Most of us never get past that point, a purpose in life is just too hard to find, in order to stay alive in the meantime, you start doing something you don't like that much because you need money. So yeah, at one point you settle because realistically, money's huge in life. I wish we didn't need money, but we do. Unless you live in the wild, which would be pretty cool.
